His Hands Puppets offers a variety of custom-made puppets for sale. These are moving mouth rod-arm performance puppets typically used by church ministries. The traveling puppet troupe has a repertoire of five shows for youth, women's groups, civic organizations, senior citizens, nursing homes and etc. We provide our own stage, sound, and lighting. Performances are by donation with a minimum donation of $100 plus $.35 round trip mileage. Regular season runs from March - November. Two shows are available year round.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I first begain assisting with the church puppet ministry in 1994. Creation of the first puppet was in 1997 with the first custom order soon after. His Hands Puppets Traveling Troupe was begun in 1999 with a duet team following in 2005. We average three shows a month during our season, traveling throughout Kansas and Northern Oklahoma. I am a member of Puppeteers of America and Fellowship of Christian Puppeteers.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The nearest similar business is located in Colorado. Most of their puppets are mass produced. His Hands Puppets are unique hand-made characters. There are no two puppets alike, unless they are ordered in duplicate. The quality of His Hands Puppets is comparable if not above that which is offered in Colorado, while the price of His Hands Puppets remains slightly lower due to less overhead and management expense.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
His Hands Puppets is based in Medicine Lodge, Ks. Traveling shows are performed throughout Kansas in a variety of venues. His Hands Puppets are available for sale at www.hishandspuppets.com and at Faith & Life Bookstore in Newton, Ks. Locations in Wichita are not available yet.
