Greater Wichita news and information.
Publishers Russ and Jackie Jones purchased The Wichita Chronicle from founding editors Lynn and Karen McBride in July 2005. They expanded its presence nationally and in October 2008 the paper changed its name to Wichita Christian Press. With the downturn in the economy starting in 2008 - newspapers across the country transitioned from traditional print publications to producing news content online. July 1, 2010 the Wichita Christian Press Newspaper ceased publishing a printed monthly edition and launched the website WichitaChristianNews.com serving South-Central Kansas with the same dependable Christian news, information and events. ChristianPress.com continues to serve the global Christian community.
